Filmed in Carrollton & Atlanta, Georgia, Before Me is the directorial debut of Matthew Simpson and his production company, Absolution Productions.

 

The film follows Roland, a heartbroken photographer who falls for Stephanie, an upcoming writer. But Roland's retroactive jealousy, a mental condition causing him to fixate on Stephanie's exes, could derail the relationship they've built. Think You meets Before Sunrise.

The film is currently on its film festival run, and will soon be in select theaters in 2027, with appearances from the director and cast/crew members!
