Filmed in Carrollton & Atlanta, Georgia, Before Me is the directorial debut of Matthew Simpson and his production company, Absolution Productions.
The film follows Roland, a heartbroken photographer who falls for Stephanie, an upcoming writer. But Roland's retroactive jealousy, a mental condition causing him to fixate on Stephanie's exes, could derail the relationship they've built. Think You meets Before Sunrise

The film will premiere at the historic Tara Theater in Atlanta, GA on June 14th, 2026. The film will also be submitted to multiple film festivals across the United States and will secure distribution.
