Filmed in Carrollton & Atlanta, Georgia, Before Me is the directorial debut of Matthew Simpson and his production company, Absolution Productions.
The film follows Roland, a heartbroken photographer who falls for Stephanie, an upcoming writer. But Roland's retroactive jealousy, a mental condition causing him to fixate on Stephanie's exes, could derail the relationship they've built. Think You meets Before Sunrise

Currently, the film is in post-production with a set release date of Spring 2026 to local Atlanta theaters. The film will also be submitted to multiple film festivals across the United States and will secure distribution.
